About the Work

This poster depicts people of different ethnicities holding thank you signs in their languages. The first two rows of homes represent neighbourhoods. The addition of the third and fourth rows speaks of the greater community. The silhouetted mail carrier against a rising sun shows the resolve of our mail carriers to see that our mail arrives daily as expected.

Bio

For over sixty years, Dennis K. Smith has been visually vocalizing his story through art. He has exhibited in numerous solo and juried group shows and exhibitions. He is the co-founder and president of The Artists of Colour.
